Good versus Evil
It's an old fight. And sometimes even if they wish to, the opponents can't really let each other go. They have to fight until the final decision is made. But that moment never comes. The fight never ends. And in the end you can't clearly say who is good and who is evil. My entry for the Bring your Vision to Life Contest. Gosh I can't stop staring at it. It's awesome

"Evil" has the wings of an angel, yet is colored black, and he is highlighted against the Heavens. This is superb work to illustrate the duality of these two forces. Bravo -- ☆彡☆彡☆彡Gojyo Hotbot: [link] |3 {- {= /\ /\/ | /\/ | Brilliant! I love the fact that the white figure has attributes more commonly associated with evil characters (bat-like wings, clawed fingers), and the darker figure, with his feathered wings, has horns... I'm really torn in trying to decide which one's good and which ones bad. XD Definitely the sign of a good picture!

The reverse wings is perfect. You would think the good character would have the feathered wings and the bad character the muscular ones. The contrast is what I like so much

The colours work really well to set the atmosphere, the layout and execution of the characters is simply amazing. I think you have portrayed your image clearly and masterfully. I like how neither one is holding the chain, so it's just there linking them together. I also like how you took such a cliche concept and made it so original, you have breathed fresh life into the good vs. evil genre.
It hard to distinguish which is good and which is evil, as the man who has angel wings as donned a black attire and has horns - whereas the woman has a lighter colour though she has typical devil wings. Although the background colours may give a hint as to each alignment the characters themselves can fool you. If this was done on purpose or not as to portray a differing message isn't clear - but the picture is incredible in it's own right.
Overall, a stunning piece which is fantastically composed with a fresh take on an old genre but with a slightly mixed message. (This could've been done to escape the norm of good and evil)
Both being chained adds to the feeling of twin powers.
Technically I love it... the fog effect adds to the atmosphere and helps to position the lights. Still, I would have seen the blue halo around the angel more high on the picture and diffuse. Right now it looks more like an opening in the clouds than an ambient light.
Also, it would have been nice if the red of the fireball reflected on the girl costume.
The pose of the girl is perfect, but I don't find the pose of the guy correct. Right now it looks as if he is retreating, scared of the incoming fireball... A retreating character lessens the feeling of intense fight. I would have imagined him diving head first in the combat (even it it would mean the chain would not be as tense as it is right now)
Overall I like it. I will not top in originality rating because as I said, good vs evil is really a recurrent theme, but this does not lessen my liking of this picture.
